Charmi turns to horror with 16 days

They say nothing succeeds like success, and that certainly has been the case in Tollywood this season. After the success of Mantra, it looks like every director is trying his hand at the thriller-horror genre.

Now Charmi, herself is hoping for a repeat show as she is playing the lead in what filmmakers say is another spine chiller titled 16 Days.

Arvind, a newcomer, is playing the lead opposite Charmi in this flick. Prabhu Soloman is directing the movie which, being jointly produced by Nageswar Rao and D Mahesh Babu.

"As the name suggests, the film is a gripping tale of events that play out in a 16-day span," says the director. That's not all. Apparently Charmi will be seen imitating some of the top stars from the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Charmi though, it seems, is all excited about the music of the film.

"I am sure this film will be a milestone in my career. It has the most romantic song that I have heard in a long time," said Charmi.
