DHOOM 3 title song download ::..Spirit of Dhoom

Aditya Chopra (producer) has begun working on the script of the third part of the movie, Dhoom 3. The big coup is that the forthcoming film will star Shah Rukh Khan in the negative role that has been essayed by John Abraham in Dhoom and Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2.

While SRK will play the villain, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will be on the opposite side of the fence, playing the cop and his sidekick in the third part too.

Reports say newcomers Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor might also be part of the project. The two are already acting together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's movie Saawariya.

Viswanath to wield the megaphone again

K Viswanath was one of the best directors in Telugu these days. However, he hung his boots for quite sometime and is now concentrating on acting. Very recently, he had directed 'Swarabhishekam' in which he also played a role along with Srikanth.

It is almost four years by now that film has hit the screen. After a long gap, now he is planning to wield the megaphone again in which Arjun is going to play hero.

Surprisingly, Arjun did not do any straight Telugu film in the recent past. Very recently, during a film shoot at Chennai, Viswanath reportedly narrated a story to Arjun which impressed the latter.

It is learnt that Arjun had agreed not only to play hero but also produce the movie. But, the latest information says that another producer also came forward to produce the film. More details are awaited.

Sumanth Arts' fresh film begins shoot

The latest film produced by MS Raju on the banner of Sumath Arts with young hero Nithin as hero and Hansika Motwani as heroine with B Gopal as director was formally launched at BR Ambedkar Open University at a simple function on June 11.

Generally, there will be a huge gathering whenever MS Raju launches his new film with a whole lots of film personalities gracing the muhurat function.

However, this time, MS Raju chose to be very simple during the launch. Moreover, B Gopal, the director of the film, was lagging behind many young directors and was not able to compete with them in recent days.

Keeping this in view, the director took it as a challenge and is getting ready to prove his mettle with this movie.

Namitha plays advocate

The film '1977' produced by Saratkumar on his own banner with himself playing hero, has two female leads. Of them, the oomph girl Namitha is playing the role of a lawyer, while Farjana is donning the character of a journalist.

Giving details of the film, Saratkumar says, 'I have several films in the combination of Namitha in my career. Though she is playing the role of an advocate in this film, she also had a lot of choice to fill the glamour slot. We are making efforts to release the film not only in Telugu and Tamil languages, we have plans to dub them in some foreign languages too. Presently post-production works are in progress. There is a speciality for our film '1977'. MG Ramachandran took over the reins of the State as chief minister in 1977. However, the film has no political backdrop. Three fourths of the film was shot in Malaysia. The government and police cooperated with us well there. I will appear in six different get-ups in the movie.'

Ad film maker, GN Dinesh Kumar is being introduced as director through the movie.

Dasavatharam Movie Review

Once again it was proved that the writers, directors and producers of other language films, are a step ahead in putting innovative ideas on the screen. Instead of going for routine, commercial, faction-related, or love backdrop films, a novel story on bio-war was moulded on the screen in a different way. The gripping screenplay, the ebullient performance of Kamal Haasan in 10 different characters, which is in no way connected with each other and with a vast variation made 'Dasavatharam' a fantastic and marvellous piece on the celluloid.

A Telugu NRI scientist Govindu (Kamal Haasan) accidentally prepares a bacteria which has the capability of killing a living being in no time and at the same time, gets doubled immediately causing a vast danger not only to the entire mankind but also to all the living beings. In order to gain an upper hand among all, the US President, George Bush (Kamal Haasan), plans to use them for his wars and at the same time, an international mafia gang leader Fletcher (Kamal Haasan) wants to grab it. In this process, the mafia woos the leader of the scientists with huge money. Learning this, Govindu decides to destroy the vial containing the virus somehow. While taking it away, it accidentally slips and goes through a courier to India. Govindu reaches India in search of the parcel and finally able to get it. However, the packet goes into the hands of Kamakshi (Kamal Haasan), an old woman, who was mentally-retarded. She drops the vial containing the virus in an idol of Lord Vishnu. Fletcher attacks Govindu and both these come under the surveillance of a police officer called Balaram Nadar (Kamal Hassan). Somehow, to escape from Fletcher, Govindu takes away the idol and Lakshmi (Asin) follows him. After traversing several miles, both of them become friends. In the process, the come across a Sikh pop singer Avatar (Kamal Haasan), Punyakoti (Kamal Haasan) and Karimulla (Kamal Haasan). Did Govindu was able to save the mankind from the spread of deadly virus? Did the US President or the mafia leader Fletcher were able to grab it? Whether Balaram Nadar could help Govindu from Fletcher? What is the role of a Japanese martial art fighter in the episode? In the beginning, the NRI scientist reveals the story of a 13th century AD in which there is a fight between the Vaishnavites and Shivites? What is the relation between that story and the present generation story? Answers to all these questions form part of the climax.

PERFORMANCE:

Kamal Haasan once again excelled in his performance. Especially, it was a record in the Indian film industry that an artiste playing 10 different roles on the screen. Moreover, all the 10 roles were distinct and have no connection with one another. Kamal Haasan portrayed the roles of a Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Christian, Japanese, an old woman, a Dalit leader, a police officer, a terrorist, and a scientist. He showed fantastic ease in all the roles and the audiences could not identify Kamal Haasan in some of the roles. Hats Off to the make-up by the Hollywood technicians. Asin also played two roles, once a small role as Kamal Haasan's wife in the flashback dated back to 13th century, and as a girl from a traditional Ayyangar family. The entire film was shot on Kamal Haasan alone and one can watch at least two to three characters played by him on the screen. Mallika Sherawat shook her legs in an item song and later played in a role with negative shades. Jayaprada, KR Vijaya and others did justice to their roles.

TECHNICAL:

Off the screen, there are three highlights and they are absolutely second to none. The first one is the make-up by Michael Westmore. It was a miracle and the normal audiences could not believe that almost all the characters in the film were played by Kamal Haasan. Second comes the cinematography. As the entire film runs with the characters played by Kamal Haasan, the audiences could find two or three characters on the screen and the cinematographer did a commendable job in mixing the scenes in an appropriate manner. Third comes the graphic works. Graphics and technology were used extensively in the film and the tsunami effect in the climax is ultimate. As a whole it is a feast for the eyes of audiences to watch such a technical marvel on the Telugu screen.

REMARKS:

Though the film begins with a story on Chola dynasty and the fight between Vaishnavites and Shivites, how it was related to the present generation story could not be immediately identified by the normal audiences. It was the idol which has common in both the stories. The safeguarding of the 'vial', the container consists of the virus, was not properly established. The hero and heroine keep running with the vial and at times, the scientist worries about its storage. Dialogues by Vennelakanti are just okay and not so great. The production values of Aaskar films are excellent. But for the minor lapses here and there, the film is worth watching for all classes of audiences.

Cast: Kamal Haasan, Asin, Mallika Sherawat, Jayaprada, KR Vijaya, Nagesh, Jayaram, Napolean, MS Bhaskar and others

In normal Telugu parlance, a timid, lazy but beautiful children are fondly called 'Muddapappu'.

In fact, the word would be used to tease such children. The same would also turn a nickname for some people.

A novice director is likely to wield the megaphone for the film.

Amisha-Saif do a sizzling number for Thoda...

Amisha Patel is going all glam for her next release Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. "You are going to see a much more of me" says the actress who plays a character called Mallaika in the film.

"My character is extremely entertaining, but she is very different from me. I'm educated and I've never been a giggly girl," says Amisha.

"Even her body language and mannerisms are very different. It was difficult as I had to learn how to act like an airhead bimbo," she adds.

Amisha also has a sizzling number with Saif Ali Khan in the film.

"A lot is happening in the song as it's the turning point in the film. It's the first film in the history of Indian cinema that has a song that has lip sync under water," she says.

Amisha is certainly having a ball being one of the Yash Raj women.

"Yash Raj has always presented its women so well, right from the time of Yashji's films," she says.

That is true with everyone going ga-ga over Kareena's look in Tashan, however the film didn't go down well at the box-office, hope that is not the case with Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic.

'Naa Intlo Oka Roju' for release in June

There was a very good response for suspense, thriller films. The success of 'Chandramukhi, Mantra and Anasuya' films indicates the same.

In order to cash in on the trend, R Udaykanth and Ch Umamaheswara Reddy are bringing out a film 'Naa Intlo Oka Roju' on the banner of VIP Art Movies under the direction of Guddu Danova.

Nisha Rawal all set to score a hat trick

She is yet to see a film of hers arrive on the big screen but she already has three projects lined up one after another.

We are talking about Nisha Rawal who would be making her big screen debut this Friday with HASTEY HASTEY where she is paired opposite Jimmy Sheirgill. But this is not the only film that she is looking at to make a mark at the box office. That's because in weeks to follow, she would also have two more films of hers getting ready to hit the silver screen.

"It has been a little wait but certainly worth it", gleams Nisha who is looking all sweet and bubbly, the tag which has always been associated with Preity Zinta, in the promos of her romantic comedy HASTEY HASTEY, "I wasn't resting even as I was completing HASTEY HASTEY. That's because soon after I got involved with RAFOO CHAKKAR which is a riotous comedy. Shooting of this film too is complete and we should see it on the screens in a few weeks from now."

What else apart from HASTEY HASTEY and RAFOO CHAKKAR?

"It is this film called JACK N JHOL and as the title suggests, this too is a comedy flick", smiles Nisha who is creating a hat trick of sorts with each of her first three films belonging to comedy genre, "Call it incidental but I have been getting an opportunity to be a part of all these fun flicks. In July I should be starting shooting for one more film but I would rather wait for the formal announcement before divulging more about it."

Both RAFOO CHAKKAR and JACK N JHOL are directed by B H Tharun Kumar of NAYEE PADOSAN fame. While RAFOO CHAKKAR stars Aslam Khan, Nauheed Cyrusi and Yudisthar, JACK N JHOL too boasts of a young team of Aslam Khan (again), Dilip Thadeshwar (MUMBAI SALSA), Tara Sharma, Shruti Seth, Shraddha Nigam and Gaurav Gera.

Lekha Washington Bowled over by King Khan

Not only the regional cricketers but aspiring actors and vee-jays are also getting benefited by the cricket revolution brought about in the country by the shortened form of cricket.

Being a field anchor for Sony Max in the Indian Premier League has certainly given the cute and stunning former SS music vee-jay Lekha Washington to get the attention of the media players in Bollywood but also gave her a chance to meet and interact with some of greatest cricket players like Shane Warne, Sanath Jayasuuya, Adam Gilchrist etc.

The reason why Lekha will always consider herself lucky to be the field host for SonyMax will be due to the reason that in this first session of the IPL itself, she was presented with a chance to meet up and talk with none other than the badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan.

The upcoming actress will soon be seen in the film 'Jeyam Kondaan' and is also said to have come in focus of the film makers in Bollywood.

She herself has come out with the news that discussions are going on with some film makers but nothing has been finalized.

Although the actress has admitted that she was not able to talk much with Shah Rukh, simply due to the fact seeing the King Khan standing in front of her made her totally dumbstruck and she forgot what she was supposed to talk with him, who knows this chance meeting with the king of Bollywood may prove out to be a lucky star that will shine in the future for Lekha.

Katrina Kaif: Wait & watch 'Jee Karda'

Katrina Kaif has just returned from Egypt after shooting a song with her favourite co-star, Akshay Kumar, for the keenly awaited SINGH IS KINNG.

And while Katrina is delighted with the way the song has shaped up, she is even more charmed by Egypt and its culture. 'It's among the most beautiful countries I have visited - the pyramids, the temples and the landscape are absolutely exotic. I even enjoyed the barbecue dinner on a boat on the Nile. We shot in a number of places and I've come back with fond memories of my trip.'

Ask her about the song she shot, Jee Karda, she smiles, 'Wait and watch. It should be on air later this month. We shot at 4am every day to capture the light and it was scorching. To keep cool we would stay in shades and sip fruit juice or mint tea.'

SINGH IS KINNG is Katrina's fourth film with Akshay. Out on 08.08.08 worldwide, it is an Indian Films - Studio 18 release.

Vietnamese fighters in 'Sultan The Warrior'

Soundarya is leaving no efforts to make 'Sulthan The Warrior' a product that will be termed as an animation movie having the same kind of standard shown previously by all the hit animation films created by the leading film and animation studios in the world.

For giving a particular action scene the maximum perfection which can be achieved, Soundarya along with the action choreographer of the film Peter Hein have gone to Vietnam.

The action scenes which will be shot in Vietnam will not be seen in the film as everyone knows the film is a fully animated one and do not require real actors.

The head of Ocher studios and her team of technicians are in Vietnam to shoot the action shots just for using it as reference points for similar scenes to be shown in 'Sultan The Warrior'.

But then why Vietnam and why it is being shot using some fighters of that country when there is enough and more facilities and junior artists right here in Chennai, is a question that can pop up.
The native fighters who are participating in the action scenes can be only found in Vietnam and they are the only ones in the world who are capable of doing the action scenes which are required as per the necessity of the story of 'Sultan The Warrior'.

These fighters are labeled as guys who can even challenge the laws of gravity and come out with stunning, unbelievable flexible movements as never seen before.

'Sultan The Warrior' is already hot in the film circles because of the reason that Superstar Rajinikanth will be seen in a complete 3D animation avatar for the first time.

Now this news of this variety action scene has added up to the excitement surrounding the film.

Kim Sharma to shake legs with Ram Charan

The shooting of the latest film of Ram Charan Teja, directed by SS Rajamouli and produced by Allu Aravind on the banner of Gita Arts with Kaajal playing the female lead is progressing well.

According to information, the film will have two item numbers. Kim Sharma, who played one of the heroines in 'Khadgam' of Krishnavamsi, is likely to shake legs in one of the item numbers.

Though she played in one film in Telugu, she almost settled in Hindi films. Later, there were rumours that she was dating with criciet Yuvraj Singh.

Sources in the film unit says, 'The special song on Kim Sharma would be shot during the end of next month. The film has music from Keeravani.

Butt And Younus Centuries Enough As Pakistan Hold On

Pakistan beat India by 25 runs in an entertaining Kitply Cup final in Mirpur, Salman Butt and Younus Khan scoring centuries for Pakistan before half-centuries from Yuvraj Singh and Mahendra Singh Dhoni weren't enough to get India over the line.

Pakistan posted 315 for three with Salman retiring on 129 and Younus hitting 108 before bowling their arch-rivals out for 290 in the penultimate over of the match, Dhoni the last man to fall for 62 as Umar Gul took four for 42.

Pakistan took full advantage of winning the toss, but lost Kamran Akmal (15) early when he was caught behind by Dhoni off of Irfan Pathan in the tenth over. The Indians would not get another breakthrough until the 42nd as Salman and Younus added 205 for the second wicket.

Dhoni used no fewer than eight bowlers in the search for a wicket, as both batsmen hit three sixes, Salman also hitting 12 fours to Younus's eight. Salman took 121 balls to get to his century, Younus just 92 - both are men who excel against India and Salman is in the form of his life at the moment.

Younus was eventually dismissed when he was caught by Virender Sehwag off of Ishant Sharma for 108 before Salman had to retire hurt on 129.

Misbah-ul-Haq (33) was the other wicket to fall, caught by Rohit Sharma off of Irfan Patan leaving Shahid Afridi unbeaten on ten and captain Shoaib Malik on 11.

Irfan Pathan returned figures of two for 59, Ishant Sharma one for 57 with Praveen Kumar, Piyush Chawla, Sehwag, Yusuf Pathan, Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina also turning their arms over.

Only Dhoni, Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma were not invited to bowl.

India's reply got off to the worst possible start for them when Sehwag was caught by Shoaib Malik off of Sohail Tanvir for two.

While Gambhir, centurion against Bangladesh remained at the crease, India remained hopeful but he was the the third man to fall after Rohit Sharma had been caught by Nasir Jamshed, on the field in place of Salman off of Gul for 24.

Gambhir was out for 40 from 33 balls.

Yusuf Pathan was promoted to try and blast some quick runs but he managed 25 before Iftikhar Anjum had him caught by Younus before a half-century stand between Yuvraj (56) and Raina (24) once again reignited Indian hopes.

Yuvraj struck five fours and a six as the pair added 73 before Raina was caught by Shahid Afridi off of Fawad Alam and two overs later Yuvraj was also gone, caught behind off of Afridi.

That left Dhoni with the lower order, and although he added 60 with Irfan Pathan (28), he was unable to score at the required rate, leaving his final assault too late as wickets fell.

Needing 32 to win from the last two overs, he smashed Afridi's first delivery for a six, but perished from the second, Nasir Jamshed taking his third catch of the innings to seal a fine turnaround for a Pakistan side.

India beat Pakistan by a record 140 runs in their group game four days ago.

India Cruise To 140-Run Win Over Pakistan

Piyush Chawla and Praveen Kumar took four wickets as India turned in a supreme all-round display to beat Pakistan by 140 runs in the second Kitply Tri-Nations One Day International series match in Mirpur.

India reached a score of 330 for eight with Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh hitting half-centuries while Pakistan were bowled out for 190, sealing India's record victory over Pakistan on a day when they played a record 114th ODI against each other.

Sehwag was dropped by Kamran Akmal while Gambhir was twice dropped in the slips by Younus Khan and both men made Pakistan pay for those misses.

After 20 overs, the pair had added 143 runs without loss but both were dismissed by young left-armer Wahab Riaz, later warned out of the attack for bowling too many high no balls, both men caught behind by Akmal, Sehwag for 89 and Gambhir for 62.

The pair put on 155 for the first wicket, Sehwag facing 76 balls, hitting 13 fours and one six, with Gambhir facing 62 and hitting six fours.

Pakistan gained a third wicket when debutant Yusuf Pathan was caught by Iftikhar Anjum off the bowling of Shahid Afridi for three but India remained handily placed, to say the least, on 200 for three after 30 overs.

The scoring rate slowed after that and Afridi struck when Rohit Sharma (nine) was deceived by a ball that didn't turn and played on. Yuvraj scored a fluent 55 from 54 balls which included three sixes before he was bowled by Umar Gul.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni (24) had two runs before been trapped in front by Sohail Tanvir. Suresh Raina (26) and Irfan Pathan (18) were dismissed by Umar Gul before Younus Khan delivered the final over due to Wahab's problems, conceding just three runs.

Pakistan were soon in trouble when Salman Butt (nine) and Younus Khan (nought) were dismissed in consecutive deliveries by Kumar. Butt was superbly caught by Rohit Sharma while Younus edged behind. Mohammad Yousuf looked good for his 11 before he was trapped in front by Kumar and when Kamran Akmal (39) was caught by Yusuf Pathan at mid-on for Kumar's fourth wicket, Pakistan were staring down the barrel at 81 for four.

Misbah-ul-Haq stroked a fluent 24 and Shahid Afridi a belligerent 23 as they tried to offer captain Shoaib Malik, who was the penultimate man to fall, on 55, some support, but India's bowlers kept up the pressure and Pakistan were unable to cope, Chawla finishing with four for 40 and Kumar four for 53.

Unless Bangladesh beat India and run rate comes in to play, Pakistan should still meet India in the final on Saturday but their chances of victory will require a vastly improved performance.

Energetic India named a side with no man over 30 while Pakistan, who have been restricted to games against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe for the last 12, showed a lack of discipline with the ball and were poor in the field.

Suresh Raina was recalled to for India as Pathan made his ODI debut.

Pakistan made one change from the side that thrashed Bangladesh by 70 runs in the opening match, pacer Iftikhar Anjum replacing spinner Fawad Alam.
