Aarya gave Allu Arjun a reputation as an action hero for the masses. Sukumar, who directed the film, now plans to make a sequel to Aarya which will take off from where Aarya ended. Dil Raju produced Aarya but his friend B.V.S.N. Prasad will now produce Aarya 2.
Speaking on the occasion of the platinum disk celebration of Allu Arjun's Parugu, Dil Raju revealed this information. He also introduced Shwetha, heroine of his next film Bangarulokam to the media. Varun Sandsh is the hero.
